AQUITY Innovations NPC has been appointed by the National Department of Health to serve as one of the GLOBAL FUND TB Sub-Recipients (SRs) in South Africa. The project activities will be implemented in Mpumalanga (Ehlanzeni district) and Eastern Cape provinces. (Amathole and Buffalo City Metro districts) whilst the head office positions will be based in Pretoria.
As such we seek to employ the following:
Nurse Mentors to be based in Eastern Cape Buffalo City Municipality (*4)
Remuneration: R60 551.26
Contract end date: 31 March 2028 subject to annual renewal
The TB Clinical Nurse Mentor will provide targeted clinical mentorship and technical support to healthcare workers in high-burden TB facilities across selected subdistricts. The role aims to improve the quality of TB service delivery by enhancing TB screening, testing, linkage, and retention on treatment and care in line with the National Department of Health policies and guidelines. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Additionally, the role demands a person who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, willing to travel, and passionate about driving positive change.
